Bridgetown Barbados

The Parliament buildings  in Bridgetown and  beautiful old buildings with lots of unique features.  I personally like to photograph Bridgetown early in the morning on a Sunday because this town is full of people and traffic during the week days.  I also like Bridgetown by moonlight, the reflections of the lights in the glass buildings are specially interesting to photograph.

Bridgetown is the capital of Barbados, at one time it was the one place that you could find everything but in recent years, stores have been moving away from Bridgetown into malls all over the island

Bridgetown is right next to the sea with a new boardwalk and a careenage where you will see mostly yachts with a few fishing boats.

The water in the careenage is usually calm which makes great reflections and at Christmas and Independence (end of November) it is extra colourful.

In Barbados it is usually safe to carry an expensive camera with you but I have heard of one being snatched so I always put my strap around my neck or wrap the strap around my wrist for safety.

If you love photography, you can get totally absorbed taking Bridgetown photos.
