North Coast

The North of the island is definitely not somewhere to swim.  I love the pictures from Animal Flower Cave with the very rough sea and the huge cliffs.  If you go at the right time you will see the water spout.

Talking of water spouts, Little Bay is great for waves crashing on rocks and Cove Bay is beautiful.  Another spot that I love on the North Coast is River bay, you can see where the river once entered the sea and climb the hill to see a great view of the North Coast.

The wind is very strong on this coast and the air is full of sea spray so cover your camera until you need to pull it out, especially if you visit Little Bay and watch your lens for sea spray.  There is a fine mist of salt in the air all the time on the North Coast.
